8 common myths
- Drugs are illegal because they're dangerous. Wrong: most illegal drugs are less harmful than many legal drugs.
- For the same work, women are paid less than men. Wrong: they're paid more.
- Porn causes psychological damages, harms women, etc. Wrong, no serious study ever proved this.
- Israel are the bad guys. Wrong, if anything they're being too soft.
- Banning guns reduces gun crime. Wrong, banning guns causes more gun crime.
- They took our jobs! Wrong, immigration leads to less unemployement, not more.
- Everything is being imported from China, soon there'll be no jobs for us! Wrong, China buys for more from Switzerland than Switzerland buys from China.
- Ronald Reagan was a libertarian. Wrong, he championed anti-porn commissions, massively raised public spending, and made the war on drugs even more criminal than it already was. Looks more like a fascist to me.
